development of the infant and child population, helping to maintain the health and quality of life of people with special dietary needs and nutritional problems.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SEPTEDE fully supports the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) for exclusive breastfeeding in the first months of infants.<\/p>\n<p>Breast milk is the ideal food for infants and breastfeeding should be continued for as long as possible.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, SEPTEDE and its members have adopted a demanding framework of self-regulation, transparency and good practice in the promotion and marketing of their products and their relations with the community, health professionals, authorities and specific groups providing nutritional
