Association of Infant and Specialized Nutrition
The Association of Infant and Specialized Nutrition (SEPTEDE) was founded in 1995 and represents institutionally the Infant Food, Children’s Food and Special Nutrition Companies
It is a member of the Association of Greek Food Industries (SEVT) and a member of the European Association of Specialized Nutrition Companies SNE (Specialized Nutrition Europe)
SEPTEDE member companies invest significant resources in research and development of innovative products and for this purpose employ a large number of qualified (perhaps senior) staff.
Strict controls in order to meet specific standards
The composition, qualitative and quantitative characteristics of infant formula, baby foods and foods for special medical purposes (FSMP’s) as well as the regulatory framework for communication and information to special population groups, health authorities and health professionals is strictly regulated at national and European level
All products are subjected to strict controls in order to meet specific production and safety standards.
