Products of high nutritional & safety standards

SEPTEDE and its members are firmly committed to the availability of products of high nutritional and safety standards that contribute to the healthy development of the infant and child population, helping to maintain the health and quality of life of people with special dietary needs and nutritional problems.

SEPTEDE fully supports the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) for exclusive breastfeeding in the first months of infants.

Breast milk is the ideal food for infants and breastfeeding should be continued for as long as possible.

At the same time, SEPTEDE and its members have adopted a demanding framework of self-regulation, transparency and good practice in the promotion and marketing of their products and their relations with the community, health professionals, authorities and specific groups providing nutritional care.
