Election of a new President of the European Association for Specialised Nutrition
The President of SEPTEDE, Mr Spyros Poulos, represented the Association at the General Assembly of the European Association of Specialized Nutrition Europe, held in Hamburg. The members of the SNE elected Mrs Marie-France Pagerey as the new president.
SNE represents the specialised nutrition industry in Europe with the main objective to contribute to the development of the necessary framework to provide appropriate products for people with special dietary needs.

On October 12 & 13, 2022, the General Assembly of the European Association of Specialized Nutrition Europe (S.N.E.) was held in Athens, at the Athens Plaza Hotel, with the assistance of the Association of Baby Food & Specialized Nutrition Greece (SEPTEDE).
The Assembly of the European Association was attended by the President and the Board Members of the European Association S.N.E., as well as representatives from the respective Associations of 19 EU countries together with Members of the Greek Association S.E.P.T.E.T.E.D.E.
S.N.E. members represent companies that provide high quality nutritional solutions to populations with special nutritional needs, including infants & toddlers, young children/adolescents and adults with problems of malnutrition/malnutrition due to a medically supervised disease, athletes, overweight and obese people and those suffering from celiac disease.
Estimates suggest that a significantly large number of European citizens will need specialised nutrition at some stage in their lives.
On the occasion of the organization of the S.N.E. General Assembly in Athens, the President of SEPTEDE, Mr: “It is a great honour for our country and SEPTEDE to be entrusted by the European Association (SNE) with the co-organization and hosting of the Pan-European General Assembly in Athens, thus rewarding the role and active participation of the Hellenic Association in European and local events, but also confirming at the same time the progress and the upgrading of the country’s credibility as a whole”.
