SEPTEDE represents companies whose business activity is related to infant, child and special nutrition products. In order to ensure proper cooperation between members, national, European and international health authorities, the scientific and medical community and to inform the public, the Association has developed and adopted a framework of principles that are reflected in the Code of Ethics and Transparency (2022).

The basic principles guide the Member Companies in the planning and implementation of promotional activities, with full respect for the consumer and the companies operating in this sector. In this direction, the Code incorporates the Greek and Community legislation, particularly on issues concerning the information of the scientific and medical community and the public, describes the institutional framework and the required procedures regarding the circulation of products related to the Association’s subject matter and establishes mechanisms for monitoring compliance with the principles of the Code.
